As another heatwave comes to an end, manufacturer Jiushark may have the best answer for your PC.

More seasonal than ever, a new announcement from a Chinese manufacturer could give more than one PC user ideas. Indeed, Jiushark has just launched - in China for the moment - the JF15K Diamond, which claims to be one of the largest ventirads ever produced. A ventirad is the duo of a heatsink - often made of aluminum/copper - that evacuates heat from the processor, and one or more fans that push it out of the case. The concept became widespread in the 90s, when the increasing power of processors meant that more and more heat had to be dissipated ever more quickly. Except that even the biggest fans are usually limited to two 120 or 140 mm diameter fans, whereas Jiushark integrates four.

The heatsink itself is neither the largest nor the heaviest we've ever seen on a PC ventirad. The JF15K Diamond measures a whopping 203 mm long, 115 mm wide and 153 mm high. What a baby! The most astonishing thing about this 203-mm length is that it gives the ventirad a very strange shape. A shape for which we've already given an explanation: Jiushark has decided to integrate four 120-mm diameter fans to evacuate hot air away from the PC. Why four fans?

Firstly, because Jiushark thinks big and specifies that its product can dissipate the heat emitted by a processor with a TDP of up to 280 watts. In simple terms, that's enough for the vast majority of processors currently on the market, even AMD's monstrous Ryzen 9 9950X3D. Furthermore, Jiushark wanted to achieve an efficient solution on these large processors, but without investing in expensive technologies such as steam chambers, thermosiphons or watercooling. In theory, the four fans should make up for this lack of technical innovation.

In theory, because for the moment, there are no tests of the JF15K Diamond, even though Jiushark has announced the immediate release of its product. It is already available in China at a price - and this is where things get very interesting - of just 279 yuan. For the moment, there's no question of finding the JF15K Diamond in France, but its predecessor ended up at certain retailers on Amazon in particular and, if this were to happen with the JF15K Diamond, we could find it for around 40 to 50 euros. We'll have to wait and see, because while the price is interesting, the airflow orientation doesn't seem optimal on a product like the JF15K Diamond.
