Launched in December 2024, the ARC B580 has been slow to be followed by more muscular sisters.
To mark its return to the dedicated graphics card market, Intel had planned a four-stage release, with as many generations of GPUs under development. The first generation - ARC Alchemist - arrived in 2022 with several GPU references: the A380 in June 2022, the A310 in September 2022, the A750 and A770 in October 2022, and we had to wait until October 2023 for Intel to complete the circle with the launch of the A580.
The second generation - ARC Battlemage - was due to arrive at the same time, but the little one fell behind schedule and, rather surprisingly, Intel completely overhauled its launch process. So, for the first ARC Battlemage card, it's the mid-range B580 that has opened the ball... and that's all for now! More than six months after the launch of this first card, we're still waiting for big/small sisters to complete a range which, what's more, has to contend with the release of new generations from NVIDIA (GeForce RTX 50) and AMD (Radeon RX 9000). In other words, more muscular models such as the ARC B750 and B770 are eagerly awaited.

But the excitement surrounding these hypothetical cards seems to have got Intel moving, and for several days now it has been responding evasively on platforms such as X.com to all users with questions. The VideoCardz site has had some fun putting together Intel's various responses to these queries, and it's pretty much the same thing every time: there's no question of Intel making any revelations, and at the same time, the answer is loaded with innuendo. The systematically used " stay tuned " can indeed be translated as " stay tuned ", which clearly implies that Intel is not finished with ARC Battlemage, and that's very good news!
