After several months of intensive work, DriversCloud has reached a new milestone. A brand-new site dedicated to hardware monitoring is now online, accompanied by a completely redesigned layout. Many of you have been waiting for it, and I'm delighted to finally be able to present it to you.

🚀 A modern site, recoded from scratch

To offer a smoother, faster and more scalable experience, I've completely rewritten the monitoring site in SPA (Single Page Application). This new design is more than just a visual refresh: it paves the way for a new generation of services.

The main objective was to create a solid foundation for the new hardware monitoring service. The old site was too limited in its scope for evolution, hence the complete overhaul.
In the same vein, the DCTools application was also recreated from scratch to be perfectly aligned with the new design.

🔄 A gradual transition

To ensure total compatibility, a system of redirections has been put in place:

  • some pages automatically switch to the new site,
  • others remain temporarily on the old site.

All pages will gradually migrate to the new platform. As you know, I'm the sole developer of DriversCloud, and I also work on the side. Waiting until everything was finished would have blocked other important projects. This gradual transition means that we can continue to move forward while offering you regular new features.

🛠️ A DevOps strategy to accelerate new releases

The last few months have been particularly intense. In just 6 months, DriversCloud has seen some major developments:

  • launch of a new real-time monitoring service,
  • creation of a new DCTools application,
  • and a completely new design,
  • all while maintaining full compatibility with existing systems.

This approach allows me to deploy more often, more cleanly, and to prepare the future of the service.

🧪 Try out the new service

The new DCTools app now adopts the same design as the website.
If you haven't yet tried out the new hardware monitoring service, now's the perfect time to find out.

A huge thank you to everyone who supports me, and a special mention to our donors.
DriversCloud is far from being abandoned - on the contrary. Many new features are still on the way.
