Production launch of a new monitoring service dedicated to PC hardware health
After more than a year's work, we're delighted to announce the launch of our new beta service, dedicated to real-time monitoring of your PC's health. Thanks to a brand-new application (written entirely in .NET), you can now analyze your machines and launch real-time monitoring of all your PC's sensors directly from your web browser.
You'll have access to real-time graphs of the temperatures, voltages and flow rates of your various components, displayed on a customizable dashboard. This allows you to check the stability of your PC in the event of abnormal temperatures or voltages. You can also add alerts to be notified by email if a sensor exceeds a certain threshold. Everything can be easily configured via a web portal that can also be used on cell phones. A full-screen mode is also available for those with large screens.
The hardware detection engine is based on CPUZ's HWMonitor, guaranteeing broad hardware sensor compatibility. You can monitor multiple machines on your DriversCloud account. The background monitoring tool is optimized for low CPU consumption.
Right from the start, you'll be guided through the new interface, making it easy to get to grips with the service. You can also pause all graphics, or only those you have selected.
The engine that manages connections between DriversCloud / DCTools applications and the website has been integrated into a standalone microservice, enabling better load management down the line.
For the moment, only email notification is available, and monitoring time is limited to 10 minutes. We plan to add more functionality in the near future. The new DCTools application will serve as the basis for future enhancements.
Thanks to our community who continue to come to DriversCloud in large numbers, and please don't hesitate to let me know about any bugs or requests, as this service is currently in beta.
And a big thank you to Raymond, who gave his time to make this project a reality.
