Battlefield 6 can run on the screen of a watercooling kit!
A technical feat that's as amusing as it is pointless, made possible by MSI's latest AiO kits.
Ever more modern, ever more feature-rich, AiO watercooling kits bring water cooling within reach of the average person. These kits are also equipped with ever flashier elements to flatter the retina of their users, and LEDs have long been invited to the party. A few years ago, the first true small-screen models even appeared on the market: the screen is housed in the waterblock, the part that overhangs the processor and, more often than not, ends up integrating the kit's indispensable pump.
MSI has gone one step further than its competitors with the MSI MPG CoreLiquid P13 kit. Tested by the All Around PC site, this kit features a 2.1" screen on the waterblock. A screen with an IPS slab capable of displaying some pretty nice things with its 480 x 480 pixel definition. MSI's idea is, of course, to allow many different things, and via its MSI Center software, the brand enables, for example: PC hardware monitoring, video display, clock display or what is known in Windows jargon as an "extended display".
All Around PC was obviously interested in this last option, because by configuring the watercooling kit in this way, it becomes possible to use the waterblock screen as a second screen for Windows. A screen that can then be used to display just about anything... including this fall's multiplayer action game, Battlefield 6. It's not exactly a feat, as the option is actually quite simple to activate, but it was worth thinking about testing it out. By the way, as you can imagine, it's absolutely impossible to play comfortably on a 2.1" screen!
