The use of this module requires a step of configuration of Windows so that a file of log is created during the crashes. It will be done only once.
- Right click on the "Computer" icon on the desktop.
- Choose "Properties" to access the "System Properties" window.
- In the "Startup and Recovery" section click on the "Settings" button.
- In the part "Writing debugging information" choose "Partial memory image".
- Validate to close the windows.
The results of this module are serious indications of a problem on the highlighted drivers. However, false positives can appear because this module cannot distinguish between drivers involved in the crash and drivers causing the crash. Indeed, the crash of a driver can have a hardware cause if this hardware is defective. The driver is then not a problem. Similarly, a problematic third-party driver can cause the kernel or a Microsoft driver to crash even if they are not the cause. If you need help, you can ask for it on the dedicated forum section
