FAQ

How do I remove the DriversCloud.com program?
Go to Programs and Features in the control panel. Uninstall the program DriversCloud.com.
Why are the preferences not saved?
Check that cookies are activated in your browser options. Check your security software parameters.
Why do some pages not have information displayed?
Depending on the security level defined in your settings, some information may be filtered. Deactivating certain modules can also cause this problem. It is recommended to leave all modules activated. In fact, if a DriversCloud module begins crashing, the error will be trapped and the module at fault deactivated to avoid crashing the DriversCloud software.
How long will my configuration be saved on the server?
In logged out mode, XML configuration files remain in existence for 20 to 25 minutes. In logged in mode, the configuration is kept stored in your profile. However, you can manually remove it by clicking this icon in the menu on the right if required.
How do I provide my configuration to a third party?
Detect your configuration. Log in, then click this icon on the settings page. Choose the settings to be shared then click the Start the detection button. Copy the link provided. Please note that the link will no longer be valid if the configuration is deleted/removed (see preceding question.)
My computer is not connected to the Internet. What do I do?
You can carry out a detection off-line by using the DriversCloud module on a computer not connected to the Internet. Afterwards, copy the Configuration.mc file to a USB memory stick then go to the detection page> and drag and drop the file into the blue shaded area.
Does DriversCloud.com gather personal information without telling me?
The DriversCloud.com software does not collect any personally identifying information without your knowledge. The XML configuration file processed by the website remains on a RAM disk on the server for 20 to 25 minutes. You can also remove this manually if required (see preceding question). No configuration information is passed to any third parties. The user can filter the information published by setting the security level in the settings if required. Additionally, this website is registered with the C.N.I.L. (the French National Commission on Informatics and Liberty) under registration number 1016058.
